follow up, its now working, i had to manually craft a config, then use the old paring way viera-pair in the console and its now responding, although its now spamming the logs with this
HAP-NodeJS WARNING: The accessory 'Configured Name' has an invalid 'ConfiguredName' characteristic ('Apple TV+'). Please use only alphanumeric, space, and apostrophe characters. Ensure it starts and ends with an alphabetic or numeric character, and avoid emojis. This may prevent the accessory from being added in the Home App or cause unresponsiveness. and when looking in Home app i see this is an application thats been picked up
