Lenovo z50-70 issue eith nvidia

When i install the nvidia driver on apricity os (or any other distro with gnome desktop), it stucks at black screen after grub menu.

What steps did you follow to install the drivers?

I had this issue as well, switching mesa-libgl with nvidia-libgl results in system hanging during startup. It seems to be the same issue as #141.

I believe that the problem is that Apricity is running Wayland, which is not supported by Nvidia. However xorg packages are still installed. Anyone knows how to force xorg instead of Wayland?

No need to force anything, you can choose between Xorg and Wayland on the login screen. You simply select the gear icon below the password field after selecting your user and there you can choose between Wayland and Xorg

I see, but what if I'm using auto login? GNOME by default uses Wayland, I'm not sure how to force Xorg then. Maybe modify the ~/.xinitrc file?

You could just log out and then before you log in select Xorg, it's a persistent setting so doing it once should be enough
