Observed

Lost notes

Reproduced

I open this note half an hour ago and copied some text from it. I don't remember if I left the app open or closed after that but now just cannot find it anymore - neither in list, search, trash etc. Happened with another note few days ago too. Maybe with much more

Everything was done on iPhone 8 with iOS 16.7.7 app v4.50

Thank you for reporting this issue to us. We need some more information about what is going on so we can look into this. It sounds like you use Simplenote over several different apps and the web app.

Can you please try creating and working on notes from each of the different apps and see if you are able to replicate this issue from any other app or is this only happening on the iOS app. Can you also try replicating this issue from the iOS app again and see if it is something that you can consistently replicate.

If you can replicate this issue regularly, can you please give us the exact steps you are taking when the content is lost? Can you also try the same steps while you are connected to a different source of internet, like at a coffee shop, and see if the problem persists on a different network connection?

Thanks for your help looking into this with us.
