cnx api integration

Description

cnx has a rest api that would/could replace the existing method of transferring, deconstructing and processing a zip archive.

Expected behaviour

To have an import routine that requires less memory and is robust enough to handle edge cases.

Actual behaviour

Current import routine sometimes requires lots of memory and has some limitations
