Right now, read-bioinfo-metadata generates an output file which includes the default parameters from the selected pipeline process even if none of the samples are present in the provided Json metadata file from read-lab-metadata; generating a bioinfo_processed*.json with a mismatching mix of samples and pipeline information.
I think that if none of the samples in metadata are found in the pipeline's results folder, then no output should be generated as in most cases this might be due to the user selecting the wrong pipeline's result folder or metadata file.
