Hello I am loving Circuitscape.
However please i am struck with how i configure this file and the ini file
When the short-circuit region map is contiguous.
Should the areas that are to be short-circuited be given a value of "1" or a value of "0"?
What about the resistance map that this overlays?
Given these are effectively areas without data or where we do not want any resistance should they also be coded as "1" or "0" or as NA?
Please how does the ini file look up the short-circuit region map?
However after running Circuitscape the "out" file says
[Short circuit regions (aka polygons)]
use_polygons = true
polygon_file = True
and so i cannot tell if it has properly looked up the short circuit file or not.
This is what i get. It has flowed in to the wider buffer area but not the actual resistance area.
Thank you if you can advise.
With best wishes, Carlos

I give it these instructions.
[Short circuit regions (aka polygons)]
polygon_file = C:\CIRCUITSCAPE.ENGLAND.CC.240626\OTTER.SHORT.CIRCUIT.ZERO\ENGLAND.RING.RASTER.asc
use_polygons = True
