Describe your issue.

Related to #654 (comment). I've just run into this same problem, and found some more information that is hopefully helpful. I've been able to replicate this issue in a new world and fresh loaded instance. It is not tied to any particular familiar (in fact, this can be done using only a single type of familiar), but rather it's tied to the number of rings being stored in the pouch. Once about 8 or more occupied rings are stored and the pouch is closed, it is no longer able to be opened. The exact amount can vary for some unknown reason, but that number does not change between my attempts to replicate this.

Thanks for the report!

Kinda seems like a data sync issue, likely due to too much nbt?

Familiars in rings in particular contain a ton of nbt data.
