I think that @WJiarong wrote this list on the board so maybe he can interpret some of the items that may be vague or unclear - some of these tasks also appear to be done already

Suggestion for for 3-4 groups today is:

Please edit/add/update/delete items on this list to correct any mistakes or inaccuracies as necessary

Ideally - team members working on one of these tasks would turn that bullet item into one or more Github tasks/issues and then update this list with that task number so this list provides easy access to those tasks.

Drive / Programming teams:

  • confirm that the robot is drivable with bumpers first (with or without the arm installed)
    • work on PID tuning and speed control (low/medium/high) controllable by the driver
  • work on auton balancing routine and ideally a balancing routine useable at endgame

Mechanical Arm team:

  • improve/reassemble arm and grabber
  • see list from Sunday
  • reinstall arm and test that it’s working properly/well enough and get limits, etc set
  • make sure code supports arm/grabber capabilities and test
  • work with drive team to test arm functionality in prep for drive testing at Chelsea

Bumpers & Logos:

  • continue to improve the way we attach bumpers so frame is not damaged and bumpers fit better
    • make sure bumper numbers do not look like a logo (remove rat eyes)
    • figure out if there is a better way to attach the bumpers - maybe with clips, lever fasteners, toggle bolts , etc.
  • determine whether/how to color print or vinyl cut sponsor logos (or do both)
    • figure out how to attach sponsor logos to plexiglass triangular panels
    • test attaching panels to the robot via velcro or figure out another way to do it

Camera/Vision:

  • mount the camera and RPi and start to use it for driving and test for cone/cube pickup
  • decide and/or code how vision will be used by the robot
