Platform

Arch Linux 6.7.1-arch1-1

GPU, drivers, and screen setup

NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti
nvidia 545.29.06-13
xf86-video-vesa 2.6.0-1
mesa 1:23.3.3-1

Environment

QTile window manager

picom version

vgit-fe5b4

I have two monitors plugged in. My main one is 100 hz and the other is 75 hz. With picom enabled the performance (e.g. in games but also with the animations) is visibly slower. Problem is resolved if I unplug the second monitor. The vsync option seems to have no effect on this particular issue. What I'm guessing is that picom by default caps both my screens to 75 hz which is the lowest of the two.

Could you send a video of spawning some windows on both monitors? I have 2 monitors as well, and animations behave differently on both of them (165hz and 240hz)
