IASValue is the view of an alarm or monitor point in the BSDB but Supervisors, DASUs and ASCEs all work wiith InOut.

The DASU shall convert IASValues in input to 'InOut and avoid propagating only InOut objectss between the ASCEs . This would avoid continuously converting IASValue to InOut and vice-versa while running the TFs of the ASCEs.
