Some thoughts:

• larvae quality is clearly an issue as PBS control doesn't differ significantly from untouched group
• 423 is the only compound that shows improved survival but it was found to be borderline toxic in TOX master page #234
• still don't know why AmB fails to improve survival (should have 30-50% survival at 10 days)
• haven't included earlier results here but so far VIV-3, VIV-6 and VIV-8 have the lowest number of deaths in the PBS control

More results

When combining results from VIV3, VIV6 and VIV8, the untouched and PBS control groups are significantly different (0.0387) and 423 is no longer (0.3079 vs AmB line).

Reviewed this work and realised that I'd made some errors in the analysis.

Only looking at results from 617, 619 and 727 from now on.

Option 1

Using results from VIV9 and 10 only.

Option 2

Using results from VIV6, 9 and 10.
VIV6 had 6 deaths in PBS control.

This suggests that:

• PBS control only significantly different if the VIV6 result is used
• none of the compounds improve survival compared to the PBS vehicle
