Poll Errors Popp Thermostat

Hello,

as of version 1.37.0 I get sporadic error messages for individual (not all) Popp thermostats.

"Handling of poll check-in from 0x842e14fffe2249e1 failed"

Does anyone have an idea about this, or is it simply a software bug?

The same errors in 1.39.0, but new message:

"zh:controller:device: Handling of poll check-in from 0x048727fffe165723 failed"

I installed version 1.36.1 again and there are no errors!
Only versions 1.37.0, 1.38.0 and 1.39.0 cause error messages.

In version 1.39.1, the messages have decreased considerably, but have not yet disappeared completely.

In version 1.40.0 / 1.40.1 5 there are again a lot of error messages.
Nothing has happened on the subject for months or version 1.36.1.

And its only one of my 4 devices producing this timeout. Interesting enough this devices is closer to my Zigbee dongle than the others and therefore directly connected, while the others are routed through my Nous power plugs or Ikea lamps.

Get the feeling its a problem with the controller firmware in my Sonoff controller? Am using "zStack3x0" dated 20221226.

I've been using a Conbee 2 stick since I started using Z2M. I use a Conbee 2, Firmware 2678070.
Up until version 1.37.x I had no problems with the thermostats.
So I don't think the coordinator is the problem.

This is interesting. Those 2 brands seem to be the same stuff and show the same behaviour. Will try to downgrade to version 1.36 and see what happens.
Anyway, a quick fix is to restart/reconnect the valve. I just removed and reinserted the batteries. After that logs look good, but the error appears again after a while. However, only if the valve directly connects to the coordinator...

You can do what you want, the error messages cannot be avoided permanently.
Deleting and repairing does not help permanently either.
I have 179 devices, 35 of which are thermostats and 85 routers.
The network is very stable.
