Any way to programmatically run the update button (from Home Assistant)?

I have the WyzeLock and still struggling with the fact that the lock status (locked vs unlocked) does not update when the lock is operated manually. This is described here and it seems it’s not just me: #3018

However, the status updates when I hit the “Refresh” or Update button in HA. This one:

Now I would like to programmatically “click” this button, ideally via a timer in HA… or a cron job or similar. Very minute or so. Then the state would be wrong only for one minute.

Is there any way to programmatically click this button (eg via mqtt) or any other hack to make this happen?

Hmm, all of the sudden the status doesn't even update by clicking this any more :-( :-(
