If a device partly works what do I do?

I think it's clear what to do if a device works completely (nothing) or a device does not work completely (write a profile) but what if a device sort of works?
I have a Moes Smart Knob. It doesn't work in the Zigbee2MQTT Front End or in Home Assistant automations but if I open an MQTT Explorer up I see everything is fine. Also if I use a Zigbee2MQTT palette in Node Red everything but the Long Press Works, but maybe someone can suggest the best Node Red Palette to use? What do I do if the device works but there is a problem in only the front end and Home Assistant integration?
