So I launch latest v0.40.24 i686 lnp on my x32 Linux Mint 17.2. The dfhack hack list is empty.
DF launches, ok. But dfhack windows shows errors:

/media/username/storage/0402/df_linux/dfhack: 40: /media/username/storage/0402/df_linux/dfhack: source: not found
./libs/Dwarf_Fortress: /tmp/_MEI20P6d1/libtiff.so.5: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libSDL_image-1.2.so.0)
Loading bindings from data/init/interface.txt
Resetting textures
DFHack fatal error: Not a known DF version.
DFHack will now deactivate.

Dwarf Therapist refuses to launch in any way I tried without any errors, just drops silently.

It is difficult to play because no Therapist and no dfhack to run Manipulator.
Why so hard to get it running on Linux? Do really so few people play it on Linux?

If the source command isn't found, something is very wrong. What's your system shell (i.e. sh)? Also, are you using the version of DFHack that came with the pack? Have you modified or patched the Dwarf_Fortress executable at all?

By the way, this particular pack is very old (two major versions behind DF). There's one here for 0.42.06 (just one major version behind) that seems to work better for some people.

Ok, the first issue is because I have tried playing savegame from 34.11 Masterwork DF. Merged the two folders. It crashed after some time gaming anyway :)

But even on clear downloaded PyLNP v0.40.24 i686 dfhack list is empty and Therapist won`t run.

Oh, and 0.42.06 LNP just crashes without any errors displayed and creates strange file UGP in the same folder.
Ok, there`s solution on the forum by Pidgeot

The PyLNP executable in this pack is the 64-bit version; it won't work on a 32-bit OS.
You can grab a 32-bit PyLNP build from here (PyLNP_0.11-linux-i686.tar.xz); just extract that on top
of the pack and you should be good to go.

However, Therapist still does not work. Therapist that I managed to run supports only 0.40 version of DF.

Maybe I am missing some dependencies or something?
