Meridian: The Way Home stuck with objectives despite completion

I have this strange issue where I died during the part where I'm supposed to defend and wait for (Scott) {or Sara} to bridge the chasm for us. When reloading the game, the bridge was ready to go but this objective was never marked as complete however I was able to move forward and complete the rest of the objectives in the mission. Except, this objective is still marked as not completed (No ✔️ )
