A py_diAID generated Synchro-PASEF method created the following error when loaded into timsControl:
The cause of the error message was that the second and fourth diagonal-PASEF scan had a slightly different slope (m=1560.1282051282 instead of m=1560) compared to the first and third diagonal-PASEF scan. This cannot be handled by timsControl.
After adapting the end-values of the second and fourth diagonal-PASEF scan manually from 1317.2 to 1317.1 and 1379.7 to 1379.6 respectively. I was able to use the file afterwards in timsControl.
Is there maybe a rounding-error somewhere in the code that caused the slightly different slopes?
Best,
Tobias
