Bit of a geeky one this,

Short <10m presentations/demonstrations or waffle on things that folks would like to share as a favourite bit of technology. (I have 3 items that come to mind)

Can be a retrospective, or something that is new & shiny.

  • Computing & Computing History.
  • Electronic Music & HiFi.
  • Toys & Games.
  • Retro or Future Gaming.
  • Electronics, Making & Tooling
  • Mundane Electrical stuff that is just so well designed.
  • Ancient technological breakthroughs.
  • Forgotten technologies that were groundbreaking at the time

I think we could get quite an eclectic mix going.... and would be pretty interesting.

Probably 90minutes worth for a short dark evening one we could do anywhere. Pub?

Branding this as a Show and Tell would work, it did quite well for the North Wales Design one:

For some locations the trick used to avoid PAT testing issues was to require objects to be battery or USB powered or use videos/photos of them in operation. Not an issue at all venues.
