Custom Hex Not Working?

I nabbed the project to help with my light sensitivity and recently wanted to see if I could customize the colors to help me read the text in the sliders. I went through the code to edit the hex's and when I run the code, it doesn't change anything in Sai2? It's still stuck at the dark greys that come with the default code. I've tried multiple different hex's to see if it was just an issue with the hex itself, but nothings happening.
