Merge Mesen2 and Mesen-X?

Are there plans to merge what's new (NES-related only and other features) in Mesen2 since that's out?

In this post on the nesdev forums, Sour mentioned that they could take a look at the forks later on and merge in changes from them, but they aren't ready to just yet. Though at least for Mesen-SX, most of the new things are in Mesen2 already.

Until features from here not currently in Mesen2 are implemented if planned, this can be closed.
