@ptestor raised this point:

section 3.3.2: How do we manage the photo metadata? I think it is a good idea. We could include a post-recovery biofouling metadata scored from 1 to 5 for example if we provide examples. But then how would this value be used? We should develop on this.

Again how do we manage picture metadata globally? Could it be included in OceanGliders v1.0 format?

I think this is a good idea but will need time to develop and has to be coordinated with the data management team.

I suggest to keep this issue related to the "photo metadata" open until the OceanGliders Data Management Workshop in June 2022 and raise it there.
