Yay! We have a doi:
http://dx.doi.org/10.25607/OBP-1756

And can get cited:
"López-García,, P., Hull, T., Thomsen, S., Hahn, J., Queste, B.Y, et al (2022) OceanGliders Oxygen SOP, Version 1.0.0. OceanGliders, 55pp. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.25607/OBP-1756 (GitHub Repository, OceanGliders Oxygen SOP. Available: https://oceangliderscommunity.github.io/Oxygen_SOP/sections/authors_SOP_development_process.html.)

I thought it would be good to document this process for the author SOP which will follow the same procedure.

I would like to add the doi to our release via these shields.

@jbusecke pointed me to this https://shields.io/ but don't completely understand how it works exactly?! 🍡

Anyone else has experience with this?

Actually how about we make a CITATION.cff file instead?
