I believe it may be beneficial for gufe to officially set its Python and core package support window in line with SPEC 0, articulated here: https://scientific-python.org/specs/spec-0000/

This would have the consequence of setting practically all OpenFE ecosystem packages on the SPEC 0 support scheme. Are there any objections to this?

I am in favor of this, we have had some OMSF wide discussions on this topic as well so we can synchronize support across the entire OMSF ecosystem.
