So much depends on the outcome of our issue named ⚖️ get real about license guidance in contribution guidelines.

The public is clamoring for us "get real" because the topic of Licensing a Repository could not be adequately addressed within a CONTRIBUTING file w/o completely taking over the majority of the document's real estate due to the sheer quantity of content necessary to adequately address the various topics involved and be successful in pursuit of the endeavor.
