Explore reworking CTDs so that each deployment has its own fieldset, rather than one fieldset spanning the max/min lats/lons across the entire expedition for all CTDs.
This could enhance performance substantially as each fieldset would be for one location only, dropping the lat and lon dims.
Also relevant to XBTs, but probably not so useful for drifting instruments i.e. Argo Floats, Drifters. Not relevant to underway instruments.
