The Pinpoint geometry has changed quite substantially over the past few weeks and the current geometry in the master branch no longer reflects our most up to date baseline.
We should therefore update the code to reflect the latest baseline geometry that we presented at the collaboration meeting: indico
My understanding is that pinpoint-fortune-geo if the most current baseline branch and so we should merge this to master
It is particularly important that we do this soon since we need new GENIE Geant4 samples for updated ML studies and because we expect new people to join the project in the near future.
Concrete things that we should:
- The default macros should apply the new baseline detector geometry
- Pixel copy numbers seem to be broken for the pixel layers in the main FORTVNE block (issue raised by @JoernMahlstedt)
- Aluminium wall volume overlaps should be fixed
- README should be updated to reflect current range of geometry options
