Windows pauses long-running analyses sometimes

When starting overnight long time analysis (e.g. image rytov-sc) the PC pauses the analysis.
I changed some of the power saving settings, but that seems to help only partially.
Any recommendation?

This is strange. I have heard of a power-throttling feature in Windows 10. Did you set the power settings to highest performance? Also, please make sure that the PC did not accidentally go to sleep mode.

Since this might be related to PowerShell, it might just be a buffering issue: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42464281/powershell-is-buffering-python-stdout
Unclear is, however, why the CPU consumption goes temporarily down when encountering this thing.
