There should be a checkbox on the bot status monitors that sends a notification when the bot turns red.

It would be cool, if such status changes would be posted in chat.

Main issue is that would require a way to post to chat. If all your instances are dead, we kinda don't have that.

I was defaulting to thinking email notifications (like metasmoke), but we don't have emails to notify so I suppose that's out of the question. A desktop notification may be best, yes.

The alternative is to just collect emails when someone wants to be notified - "want notifications? click here" - "enter your email address to get notified when everything is falling apart"
