Similar to #63 the user has to know the correct indices it would be nice to allow:

  1. Arrays of units e.g [4,5, 6, 10] * u.keV
  2. So kind of strings '4-5,5-6,6-10`

If you only given as 1d can't do gaps e.g 4-5, 6-7, 7-10
