What is the difference between "NX Domain" and "Blocked"?

I am using these blocklists:

I set blocking type to NX Domain. On the dashboard, I see both "NX Domain" and "Blocked", with different values. What is the difference between the two?

NX Domain means that the domain does not exist. When the blocking type of NX Domain is used, the queries are answered with NX Domain response. Thus the dashboard stats will count it under NX Domain and also under Blocked since those were actually blocked.

The numbers differ since you may have queried for a domain name that does not exist and was not actually blocked.

I'm currently only using it on a couple mobile devices. Yesterday+night is like 2 specific websites and background usage. Today is also watching Twitch. At around 10:00, I switched blocking type to "ANY Address", which changed the ratio of "Blocked" and "NX Domain" while I'm still doing the same thing. So I'm pretty sure that if blocking type is "NX Domain" then some blocked requests show up as "NX Domain" in stats.

Yes, that's what I said in the previous comment. It is expected to work that way otherwise it would be considered a bug.

Ah, the NX Domain requests are for lb._dns-sd._udp.0.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa and the sudden decrease in them was just a coincidence.
