Better integration between "project" sites and main site

Brought up during the last website meeting and needs further discussion

Is there a way to improve some of the integrations between the project sites (rse-stories, map, rse-roles, etc.)? For example, the logo was recently updated, but several of the project sites do not have this update, since their assets are entirely independent of the main site.
