Assignment: Python Code Tweaking

Objective: In this assignment, students are required to fork the current repository, tweak the Python code in Visual Studio Code, complete the missing code sections, rename the file according to the specified format, add, commit, and push the changes to their forked repository by sending a pull request.

Instructions:

  1. Fork Repository:

    • Start by forking the present repository to your GitHub account. You can find the fork button at the top right corner of the repository page.
  2. Open in Visual Studio Code:

    • Clone your forked repository to your local machine.
  3. Tweak Python Code:

    • Open the Python file in Visual Studio Code.
    • Review the existing code and identify the missing sections or areas that need modification.
    • Complete the missing code sections according to the given instructions or requirements.
  4. Rename File:

    • Rename the Python file according to the specified format: <Name>_<Roll No.>.py
    • Replace <Name> with your name and <Roll No.> with your roll number.
  5. Send Pull Request:

    • Once you have pushed the changes to your forked repository, navigate to your GitHub account.
    • Go to your forked repository and click on the "Pull Request" button.
    • Submit a pull request to the original repository, including a brief description of the changes made.

  • Make sure to follow the instructions carefully and adhere to the specified file naming convention.
