Feature Request : The command to audit an XISO to ensure it is uncorrupted and complete.

Been thinking about how to test an image to see if it's damaged, can't figure out any way to actually do it.

Would that be possible? Or is there another way that I just keep missing? If so, I apologize.

Is the -x switch not enough for your purposes?

Sorry, was thinking less about them physically extracting it on the disk and more similar to how on WinRar you can test an archive for errors.

Where the whole process takes place in memory without anything spent on writing it out. Not to decompress the iso for other purposes but just as a way to make sure it isn't corrupted or incomplete.

Edit: So you can always check back and verify everything later if, for instance, you had a queue of stuff going and walked away and came back to find out you had a power outage and didn't know if your PC had finished before hand and stuff like that.
