Any chances of one to be made? It would be able to go much more in-depth than those interactive popup tutorials do (I don't think that even the "advanced" one explains everything) and would be much easier to reference if you want to do specific thing but don't know how.

Inb4 "It's open-source, do it yourself" - a) I don't have time, and much more importantly, b) I'm not the best person to write such manual as I don't have good music experience (that's why I appreciate music software with built-in scale limiter such as 1BITDRAGON and Bosca so I don't have to think about the scales when trying to make music and can actually do half-decent tunes with it) and I am still learning Bosca myself so I can't even make an interface guide.

Hey there! Thanks for the idea. I am ill-equipped to give anyone music lessons, if that's what you're looking for. I can explain how the app works, and in my opinion existing guides cover pretty much all of it, but I can't really explain how to use it to write good music and what good sounding music is.

For people who want a bit more explanation than what the guides provide I can recommend Brackeys' video on the 2.0 version of the app. This is what I watched to learn how to use it years ago, and it holds perfectly today, for the version 3.0, aside from rather minor UI changes.

In fact, I think it would be a good idea to leave a link to it in the help section or at the end of one of the guides:

If you think there is anything amiss which would be a good addition to either basic or advanced guide (or a new guide all together), please let me know. I didn't really change much about either of them compared to the original Bosca Ceoil, but nothing prevents us from writing those guides anew, if there is demand for better onboarding experience.

I'd rather not have it rely on an external resource that can be taken down for whatever reason at any time, no matter how good it is. And yeah, I meant how the app works. Then later on actual musicians can add to it and describe how to make good music (music theory and stuff).

Well, what's missing from the guide about how the app works, in your opinion?

What's missing is a text file you can refer to at any time instead of having to click through the guide to get to the part you actually need, then accidentally skipping it too and having to restart the guide from start in the thirty degrees celsius heat

Maybe start with just the same information as the help/tips (inside the app). I remember trying to do Undo just pressing the whole keyboard, later was very obvious in help, but if all help & tips were inside a README.md is more easy to just search there.
