So based on the initial feedback from the release of GDSiON I made sure to add a forced level of compression to Bosca as well. This is needed because the synth can totally produce sounds which can be unpleasant or even ear damaging. I used settings recommended to me, but I can't really be sure if they are optimal or too much.
But some users definitely notice it and say that their songs now sound off. This is unfortunate, and while I don't think the compressor can be removed entirely (as it's a health and safety measure), we should look into adjusting the values to reduce the negative effect on the sound output.
It's also a valid approach to add a toggle to the app that disables the forced compressor at user's own risk. The default user experience must remain on the safer side, but an option can be introduced for those who need it.
