Text replacement not working in Windows when string contains certain characters [now fixed]

Hi,
i tried to replace complete strings, but it doesn´t seem to work - is this possible at all, or am i doing something wront?
code example:

(...)
plugins:
  filter:
    text:
      blacklist: ["nope"]
  replace:
    text:
      "ohne Gewähr!": dog

Edit:
It works in general and with other strings - the Problem in this case is the encoding, which doesn´t seem to recognize the "ä" as a valid character. Anything that can be done about that?
Maybe i can encode it somehow, so that the bot understands it?

I could not reproduce your problem.

Everything worked perfectly fine for me.

When you are having some problem, always mention which OS or cloud platform are you using?

I think you missed something while hurrying. Try again, and tell me.

Encoding is not a problem, as all kinds of characters are supported.

This is odd.
I´m using Windows 10. This is my code and the output that results:

show_forwarded_from: false

plugins:
  replace:
    text:
     Gewähr : dog
     Gewaehr : dog
     Für : cat
     Fuer : cat
     
    regex: true

Under the replace section try surrounding the text with quotes ".

I have tested on my computer which runs Linux. All cloud platforms also run Linux.

I will try on windows, and investigate this issue.

Gewähr and Für are not replaced by dog and cat. YML file is changed to this:

text: {"Gew\xC3\xA4hr": dog, Gewaehr: dog, "F\xC3\xBCr": cat, Fuer: cat}

Yup, while dumping the yaml, that happens. Converted to unicode. But it's surprising that text replacement is not happening.
