Gnucash Expense Classifier

Designed to work with OFX and other financial ledger files, to assign and predict accounts based on existing transactions. Typical use cases are to classify expenses going out of your checking account or credit card statements.

Installation

This software is provided as is. Always keep a backup of your Gnucash book, and don't come running to me if your file got corrupted (do feel welcome to file a bug).

git clone ... pip install -r requirements.txt

  • Skipping past transactions whose confidence exceeds some threshold
  • Progress indicator when assigning transactions.

  • Online re-training when a block of transactions have been commited.
  • Alternative classifiers
  • Factor out my personal feature extraction of text data and allow simmple plugins
