AWS - GuardDuty - TooManyActiveKeysException

The error "TooManyActiveKeysException" is very common in this microservice and appears quite frequently upon sending API calls.
I couldn't find any other refernce for this Exception, aside from this discussion. What could cause this error?

@ShakedAp-cloud-guard Could you please share the AWS SDK version you are using? In AWS .NET SDK, AWSSDK.GuardDuty is autogenerated based on the service model. You may check Amazon GuardDuty API Reference (I guess you already did) for list of API operations and respective exceptions an operation may throw.

Please advise when you receive TooManyActiveKeysException exception. Are you using the same ListDetectors API operation as mentioned in aws/aws-sdk-js-v3#4118? Could you please share the sample code? I may need to check with service team to get more details about this exception and if API reference should have note of this as one of the exception types as well.

Yes, I am using the same ListDetectors API operation. The AWSSDK.GuardDuty Version I'm using is 3.7.4.29, and AWSSDK.Core version is 3.7.106.37 (But this error already appeared a few months ago).
I haven't really found any documentaion whatsoever about the Error, and I'm still trying to find out what condition is causing this error - so checking out with the service team to get more details about this exception would be really helpful.

Here's an update from service team:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The reason for the error response is an API throttling limit that was surpassed when the attempted GuardDuty API calls were made. We have increased the limit to minimize the risk that this behavior will persist.
