Amazon.SQS.AmazonSQSException: The request signature we calculated does not match the signature you provided. Check your AWS Secret Access Key and signing method. Consult the service documentation for details.

I'm attempting to send sqs messages from a lambda. The lambda obtains the AWS credentials from secrets. I have another lambda behaving the exact same way and utilising the same credentials. The other lambda isn't failing with this exception. Appreciate any help on this.

@anushakabber Could you check:

• Is the region same or different for both Lambda functions?
• What is the region for SQS queue?
• Are you explicitly setting region while making SQS call? if not, could you try setting region explicitly?
• Have you tried using latest version of AWSSDK.* packages?
• You may also enable verbose logs using code below and examine the detailed error in the CloudWatch logs:

  Amazon.AWSConfigs.LoggingConfig.LogResponses = Amazon.ResponseLoggingOption.Always;
  Amazon.AWSConfigs.LoggingConfig.LogTo = Amazon.LoggingOptions.Console;
  Amazon.AWSConfigs.AddTraceListener("Amazon", new System.Diagnostics.ConsoleTraceListener());

• Could you share the sample code along with above details to troubleshoot the issue?
• Why are you getting AWS credentials from secrets (Access and Secret Key)? The recommended approach to attach policy with appropriate permissions to a role attached to Lambda.
