Xpadneo seems to set a quirk for the 8Bitdo Ultimate 2C controller (connected using the 2.4G dongle) for using the Nintendo button layout.
However this is one of the few controllers that uses the Xbox-layout.
Now for ES and most (RetroArch) systems it doesn't matter, because you can configure it in ES.
However for external ports (Switch for example) are now reversed.
Detailed reproduction steps
Installed a fresh copy of the latest v41dev and I plugged in the wireless receiver for the controller.
I recall that the dmesg output for Xpadneo says something like Quirks 0x000050.
