inconsistent behavior in model cards when clicking on icons

The model cards exhibit slightly annoying inconsistent behavior when clicking on icons. Some icons produce a new popup overlay window that can be closed and one returns to the card, while others seem to highjack/replace the card window itself with no way to return to the card other than closing it and opening it again:

The "share" popup also seems to be of a different kind. While all other popups will be closed pressing the ESC key, the sharing one will remain (while the model card below will be closed).
