Facing Server Error while testing data source connection and ingesting metadata from Databricks to Datahub.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Go to specified datahub url.
  2. Click on Ingestion on the right top corner.
  3. Enter the credentials for making the data source connection. If required, use the yml code.
  4. Click on Test Connection.
  5. An error message pops up on the screen showing "There was an unexpected error when trying to test your connection. Please try again".

Expected behavior:
Connection Succeeded
A connection was successfully established with Databricks Unity Catalog.

Hi, what version are you running here?

The version for Datahub is 0.12.0. Although now this issue is resolved, I'm facing a new issue which is:
raise PipelineInitError(f"Failed to {step}: {e}") from e
datahub.ingestion.run.pipeline.PipelineInitError: Failed to find a registered source for type unity-catalog: unity-catalog is disabled due to an error in initialization

Tried all possible solutions, but non of them is working. This error occurs during ingestion, Test Connection is showing Succeeded.

Hi there. v0.12.0 of DataHub is not well supported anymore. We'd recommend upgrading to v0.14.6 if possible. That being said, we are actively attempting to reproduce this locally.

Cheers
John

@jjoyce0510 , Now we deployed the datahub with latest version 0.14.1, but still we are getting same issue.
Refer https://artifacthub.io/packages/helm/datahub/datahub/
Also we sent email to support@datahub.io with details
