Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

As documented here we should evaluate the support for generating a catalog from the process if resolving a profile against an original artifact.

Describe the solution you'd like

  • Given a profile exists for generation of a catalog
  • When generate catalog is executed
  • Then a new catalog is produced from the associated profile

Additional context

I expec this to be the required but initial generate catalog execution. Generating a catalog is a cumbersome task as it is the most ambiuous with regards to potential data included.

Expected Deliverable

  • generate catalog command
  • Unit tests
  • E2E tests
