Maybe using google drive folder and queries to that or somehow connect the images to the heroku database? but either way the profile pictures should be stored not directly in the repo and should be able to be accessed by heroku and me from the same source, so if you are developing and then someone adds a new prof pic but then when you commit that image is erased... we don't want that problem.
