Add graphing to class based tabulation view #127
Comments
Due to issues with D3.js's graphing capabilities (as far as utilizing more than 1 of each 'type' of graph being in one page), it may be easier to just add a hyperlink from each substance's entries in the class-based page to the individual substance stats dataview, where they can then see the graphing in all its glory. Then again, maybe an answer can be found within some information like this particular StackOverflow post. |
Cool thnx for the info, @georgedorn. |
@georgedorn that seems to have led me to getting this almost implemented. Now the problem, after differentiating different div elements for the scripts to attach to, and different NOTE (edit): It looks like this may have something to do with a divide by 0 issue coming up in my |
…eding this commit in that particular issue for details regarding the current holdup in all of the proper graphs being displayed.
… little bit, but some of the graphs are still being appended on top of the last set's dosage graph, for some reason. En route to #127.
Finagled things a little bit more to get a bit closer. It looks like the missing graphs from the top of the page are, for some reason (or at least one of them is) appending on top of the dosage (1st in the set) graph in the final set on the page. Going to have to look at this more after work, it's definitely time for me to start getting ready. |
Depending on the data that these different graphing segments are receiving from the json output views they're appearing in different areas. Pretty confounded here. Things were actually looking more proper when a couple of the graphs were receiving 'null' data where they were expecting lists due to a divide by 0 error (#126, I think) that I haven't been able to fix yet. Now that I've got that bit fixed (not the whole bug, just the test data making sure to avoid it) they're all piled on top of each other again at the very last set of graphs. |
Rendered HTML/JS of the active template follows:

Just realized that I'm not using different variable names for each graph, there are 3 sets, each with a graph named |
Graphing is the only thing that still needs to be added to the class based tabulation views now.
NOTE: This will need to be accomplished in a loop per each substance, being as we've got multiple substances to graph for in this view, as opposed to the individual substance view before. Not like that should really need to be said.
