Logging in gets stuck after the GitHub auth step #347

I see this happening:

  1. Click the login button.
  2. GitHub auth window pops up.
  3. GitHub auth window does not close.
  4. If you close it manually, the app is still on the login screen.
  5. Refreshing the browser then results in you being logged in.
