CppWAMP can be used header-only, or can be compiled into a library with the host application needing to define CPPWAMP_COMPILED_LIB.
CppWAMP is not template-heavy at the API level, and makes use of the Pimpl Idiom in places to hide implementation details. The compile time of an application in header-only mode is therefore dramatically longer than when using the compiled library. We use the compiled library mode in the closed-source parent project that uses CppWAMP.
I'm therefore considering dropping support for header-only mode. If there are any objections to this, please let me know and I'll reconsider.
