mock cluster in continer

when I see BROKERS=127.0.0.1:44151 I think I'm seeing only the loopback interface - Can I direct librdkafka to connect to any/all interfaces somehow when I start kcat -M # , especially within a docker container? From what I can tell with my limited C reading skills line https://github.com/confluentinc/librdkafka/blob/a83cadf5eab3a43f7f0d3dd09f5b1a3e9e88312f/src/rdkafka_mock.c#L1524 currently suggests all input sockets are only going to hit the loopback which works well until I want to have a container that only exists as a mock cluster. TIA
