A review meeting on 2 Nov 2022 proposed:

remove non-essential vscode extensions
add very useful ones to recommended extensions
add questionably useful ones to the documentation
recommend use of vscode settings sync so that if you have multiple dev-u22 workspaces at least the user settings will get copied around
- important: this means we also need to minimize the number of workspace settings because these override user settings.
