Export GeoData in GeoJSON Format #17
Comments
As far as I know, GeoJSON is not (yet) specified/capable to hold an altitude? Maybe one should specify this first |
Of course GeoJSON supports altitude. From the GeoJSON spec: "A position is represented by an array of numbers. There must be at least two elements, and may be more. The order of elements must follow x, y, z order (easting, northing, altitude for coordinates in a projected coordinate reference system, or longitude, latitude, altitude for coordinates in a geographic coordinate reference system)." |
My fault. I like the idea. |

We should export geo informations in GeoJSON format so we can exchange the Map representation in the frontend to any GeoJSON compatible and have a way to import
the dataset in any GeoJSON Framework, e.g. GoogleEarth, OSM.
